Crafted by artisans in India, Lada’s design is led by the method of its construction. Individual knots are looped across the weft, then cut methodically—in a pattern determined by the weaver—exposing the soft fray of fabric among rows of rounded loops.
- Handwoven using a wool blend, this modern rug has medium .5” pile for comfort underfoot.
- Lada is GoodWeave certified, ensuring our commitment to ethical production and the support of weavers' communities.
- Shedding is an inherent characteristic of wool rugs and will gradually subside with vacuuming and proper care.
- A rug’s colors are highly influenced by your environment and lighting. We recommend ordering an 18" x 18" sample for reference.
- Don’t forget a rug pad—we strongly recommend one for safety, cushioning, easy vacuuming, and longevity.
- Rug Fibers: 100% Wool
- Made in India
- Clean spills, including water, immediately by blotting with a clean sponge or cloth.
- Avoid exposure to all liquids.
- Professional cleaning recommended.
- Rug pad recommended for use on hard floor.
- Expect shedding.
- For vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.
Like rock bed striations—This handwoven rug’s design is unique by nature, made of individual knots looped over months of work completed by deft hands.
